Cube Controller manages the system
The Cube Controller monitors the system, manages lock drivers, occupancy and much more. The Cube Controller communicates with the VC Cloud in encrypted form in real time.
VC Cloud
The Variocube Cloud is GDPR-compliant and the data centres are located in Ireland and Germany. The data is encrypted, as is communication via the interfaces.
Cube Admin Centre
The CubeAdmin Centre manages all lockers and is the central administration point for customers' smart lockers. General functions and, depending on the application being operated on the lockers, extended management options (inventory, rental prices, etc.) are available.
Connecting external services (API)
There are various options for connecting your systems:
- Your own IT systems can communicate directly with the CubeAdmin Centre via an API, with Variocube only taking care of administration in the background. Only your systems are visible to your customers and employees.
- The existing IT systems communicate with the Variocube WebApps via the API and provide the requested data. The Variocube WebApp is the central point of contact for users.

There are no limits to the systems that can be connected. We already work with a wide range of CRM, ERP & shop systems (e.g. SAP, SAP-MM), employee databases and access management systems. SCLogic & Pitney Bowes are connected for internal parcel distribution.
