Dopgas, a brand of Doppler Gas GmbH, recently realised the order to equip two locations with automated pick-up stations for liquid gas cylinders. Since 27 October 2021, gas cylinders for camping cookers, barbecues etc. can be removed from the machines in Wels and Laakirchen simply, quickly and easily.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For the implementation, Dopgas relies on Variocube's development expertise, which made it possible to find the optimal solution for the sale of gas cylinders. For this purpose, not only was the software adapted to the application, but also a space-optimised locker size was developed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The desired gas cylinder can simply be selected and paid for at the petrol station shop. The customer receives a collection code, enters it at the terminal and the corresponding compartment door opens. Now the cylinder can be taken out.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Where available, a bottle can be selected directly at the terminal on site and paid for using the card terminal. Particular attention was paid to the safety of the system with regard to explosion and fire hazards:<\/p>

- The operating terminal was designed as a separate unit to ensure spatial separation between the energised system components and the stored gas cylinders.<\/p>

- The locks were moulded with special resin to completely eliminate the possibility of sparks.<\/p>

The dimensions of the lockers have been specially adapted to make optimum use of the available space. As gas cylinders do not require a standard depth of 650 mm, a new compartment depth of 350 mm was developed. This means that the systems are narrower, which not only makes better use of the available space, but also significantly reduces the overall installation area required.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
